No, Resi, they didn't want to do anything from corms/tubers, but a friend gave me a clump from her garden and off they went! Now they're doing really well. :-)

The first flowers are just coming up on mine. They take a while to establish.

They like it hot whilst they are dormant in the summer.

I liked this enough to look it up, and it turns out this was once Iris tuberosa. After some study by Jodrell labs at Kew, it has been put back in the Iris group and the Hermodactylus grouping dropped.
