Lovely foliage :o) I bought one last month but haven't put a photo on yet , I must do that , I have another one that has stood up to the winter weather which is good news .....

according to the label it is hardy. time will tell.

They are totally hardy as long as you don't attempt to cut them back when they're in active growth.
Try underplanting with our native primrose - the cream flowers and pink stalks match the colours on the leucothoe leaves

i like theidea of native primroses but the bed it is going in doesnt get much direct sun.
hoping it will do well given time. I know a few of you have this species and variation.
