Don't give up, Mageth even if it means collecting the seed and sowing it yourself.

think i could grow them in pots? and overwinter them in my little greenhouse. think the early flowering plants get overwhelmed by my summer plants. will give it a go

I've never tried them in pots but I don't see why not. They seem to be happiest growing up against walls and hedges.
