One of my all time favourites, but lost it last year, must buy it again......

I bought 'Lilac Mist' this year (again!) having lost it. I took a photo, but it wasn't sharp. I love all the Omphalodes - 'Cherry Ingram' being my top favourite. :-)
They like dappled shade, Motinot, so they shine out from under shrubs! Such a pleasure.

Do you think Cherry Ingram is better than Starry Eyes Spritz? and do you send for them as I had to, being as I never see them for sale at GCs....

aren't they just lovely! pretty little things, bit like exotic forget me nots??

Dd - I actually saw 'Cherry Ingram' at the GC last year! None of the others, though. I was given 'Starry Eyes' but had to get 'Lilac Mist' via mail order.
They are very pretty plants, Sticki, and well worh growing if you have a shady corner. :-)

lovely little plant...

Yes, it is...and Sticki, they're small - only about 4" tall. I don't think you'll find them in a GC, though - you might in a Nursery, or else on line.

ok, thank you.

Such a pretty little thing. I love it. I must have a look at mine tomorrow...it might be the same.

And is it?
7 Apr, 2011
Nope, no such look. Mine is plain blue, but still very pretty!

Must go find mine, too! Sticki - Beth Chatto sells them (Cherry Ingram, 3.95), - her catalogue is very good - and Cotswold Garden Flowers (same one at 4.50).

Both excellent Nurseries. :-))
