All growing in the ponds margins. Yellow species colour and developed florindae varieties in shades of orange, which have yellow insides.

Lucky you, having the orange. My seedlings are now tall but I have no idea where they will go. Very pretty.

I did find trying to grow florindae in the border, they died out, much to dry. I've created a wet area especially for Primulas, after visiting a local garden which was spectacular, but the ground water level there was naturally very high.
Also growing from seed 3 new different Primula species, flowering next year hopefully. Pricking them on today, as it's raining and I can do under the carport.

I shall be interested to see your new primulas. I seem to have most success with the seeds when I either chuck what I think is spent compost onto the borders (where they subsequently come up and confound me) or when they have come in packets of mixed unnamed seed and have been treated in an offhand manner. When I try and nurture them I usually have very little success(!)
