Wow, that’s so lovely. I’ll check on mine in the morning, what a bonus for early Feb 🙂 .

Lovely, and so early! Yesterday we had a beautiful day and I did quite a bit of weeding. It was the first day of this year that I have felt spring energy in my garden, and in the sunlight. Wonderful feeling!

Thanks Janey, well I have buds so that’s something. Yes, we’re all getting that Spring-isn’t-far-away feeling!

I was given a pot of snowdrops this morning, then went for a walk in the sun: very cheering.

Thanks Sbg...it's such a lovely old wall..

Hi Meadow, yes, it's been very cold here today, but bright sunshine too. We just need some frosts to kill the bugs..

We've had your day today Karen, I've moved my tulip pots to the base of my wall where the morning sun catches..:))

Great stuff Sheila! What a lovely treat. And I did the same with Lottie, there is some warmth in the winter sun too..

That's is a lovely flower and surprise and looks pale blue to me which is unusual.

Yes, I see what you mean Thrup, and so many more today with the sunshine after the mist cleared..:))

Janey, I do hope this ferocious wind hasn't blown your lovely blossom away :( x

Sheila, it's withstood it very well, I'm amazed, tough little blossoms, these...:)) How did yours fare? Did those buds keep tight shut?

To be honest Janey, I haven’t looked again. Mine’s in a shady corner so I cannot expect blossom until things get considerably warmer. BUT my Prunus kojo-no-mai has begun to flower 🙂.

Haha...has it?? You've beaten mine Sheila. I planted mine in the garden this last year, but the location doesn't do it justice. It's has little buds, no flowers as yet. I shall dig it up later and repot it and bring it back nearer the house where I can see it's lovely shape..

Good thinking . . . such a lovely little thing, worth cherishing.
