This is the little Prunus - this camera has made its flowers a lot more 'pink' than they really are. The blossom close-up is nearer the colour.

It's a survivor, too - it got bent double when the branch fell off the ash tree! It lost a couple of branches, too.

lovely Spritz, i have been pondering on a Prunus tree for the back of my garden next to the Acer, it would have to be small because of the size of the area, i may just have to look out for this one.
