From a distance, the tree just looks white - but the blossom is just beautiful close up.

YES!!! I'm finding the photos come out clearer! Doesn't technology move on fast - the 'old' camera was only 18 months old!

Goodness me that is no age tying to convince hubby it is time for me to have a new one, realised it is over 15 years since I had a decent camera, have been using my mobile for my pics.

That was why I couldn't believe it was not repairable, Dd! I should get some of the price back off our home contents insurance, though.

I should think so, then you will be able to buy some more plants to photograph......lol
