They stand out against the wintry sky. This is a great tree for year round interest in th eright place since I understand they can have a suckering problem. So far so good, maybe our sandy soil puts it off.

Oh boy, do they sucker. At least around here. Keep a good eye on it Chrispook. They can sprout up yards and yards away from the mother tree. Also, they can cause skin irritation in some people.

I see why you love them so. It looks great! I hope it stays under control for you. I could make a section in my favorites of Chrispooks Rhus Sumac. :-)

Well you could if you really want to. I know I take a lot of shots. Thats because it always seems to have something of interest. I've got another one too grown from my neighbours garden. Next year it will be quite big so I'm,expecting more candles.
