This is a very tall tree looking up. It's actually in back of the other pics I posted earlier (which can't be seen in the earlier pic). Photo taken July 25, 2017.

Thank you! It was cloudy this evening. It's my perfect weather...muggy, cloudy and only 74 degrees during evening and at night...and not a breeze at all.

That's comfortable and nice cool weather. It's very comfortable for night time here. It could be a lot hotter.

Ahrr so its cool yes I can understand that then muggy to us here is like humid weather makes you sweat.
28 Jul, 2017
Yes, you definitely sweat! LOL! It's common for this time of year. You just don't sweat as much at night because no sun. lol!

lol Andy . They should of named San Diego Sauna Palms then the Sauna to make you sweat the Palm s to cool you after. It's good its cooler at night there for you.

It's only really humid here when the monsoonal flow is strong. It's been very strong this year. More very hot and humid weather is on the way starting today. Yuck!
The weather here isn't even close to how hot and humid the south and Florida climate is. It's extremely hot and humid especially in S. Florida. The heat index is always in the 90's to 100 degrees all the time (day and night) in summer. Their dew points are in the upper 70's which is torrid! The dew point here has been in the mid-to-upper 60's, which is muggy to humid. Dew points in the upper 70's (like in Florida) would literally feel like being in a steam room.

It's been HORRIBLE this week! Luckily, most people have ac here. It's been feeling more like Key West than San Diego...I hear so many people complaining about this heat and humidity. It's slightly more tolerable today; however, it will continue to be hot and humid. It's difficult for the humidity to go down when the Pacific Ocean off San Diego is 77ºF (25ºC) and San Diego Bay is warmer.

I feel for you Andy they are getting it on Europe they have called it Lucifer they have told holiday maker they are not to on 're beaches and to stay indoors in the shade and keep cool in the news papers today. I know Italy has got a drought reading last week it said they expect it to cause illnesses through lack of water.
Yes the oceans here ate warming up to so yes I can see why its not been cooler there. Do you think it's the El Nino effect.
4 Aug, 2017
Yes, I think it's getting hotter and hotter every year. I know the Pacific Ocean here around San Diego the last 10 years has been well above normal. The couple of years it's been really warm. Typically, the the Pacific Ocean off San Diego peaks at around 72 to 74 degrees. It's been peaking closer to 80 degrees the last three years. El Niño was a factor last in 2015. We had so many exotic marine life up and down the coast here. A Marlin was spotted off the coast of San Diego (first time in 25 years).

We had an unusual sea creature not normally seen here not so long ago.
Yes when the oceans warms up the sea level rises watching tv not so long ago it wiped out a couple of islands now under the oceans they said the Seachelles island will go to.
Yesrs ago I read earth goes through cycles and just before an ice age is due the earth gets hotter on a tv program they said we have had 31 ice ages from drill boring out ice samples from the Antarctica the most likely to survive are the people who live closest to the equator.

I've read about the ice ages. It's very interesting. I know in the last Ice Age the permanent ice was as low as in extreme northern California. I'm sure even in San Diego the weather was much cooler during an ice age.

I would say so to Andy.
