Have grown this thistle for over ten years, this is how it starts, very low then POW!! usually seeds itself in totally the wrong place.....

ts such a pretty plant. another name is "Milk Thistle"......unfortunately in Australia it is a pernicious weed and when it is eaten by cattle...it attacks their liver and kills them...

we get ragwart every where here and it too is bad for the livestock....
