Yes, I've seen them, but only about three or four times in my life. It's well up north here, so I suppose that gives me a better chance? It's an awesome sight and you never forget it. Maybe you will be lucky. Enjoy your holiday!

Is that at a certain time of the year Ojibway?Perhaps I need to go to Aberdeen next time, I surposed to be going to Norway at the best time, but no guarentees of corse.

It has always been late in the year when I have seen them. Cold frosty nights with clear skies. But I'm sure that is not a rule and you just might get lucky. I do hope so.

I once saw the Aurora Borealis when I was in St Ives in Cornwall one September - apparently it's quite common at that time of year.
