Rhodo in bloom

Hi All,
Just received a mobile phone picture from the caretaker of the rhodo I planted last October. Seems to be thriving and clearly flowers in early June in Hakone (will note it in the diary). Still able to garden from 6,000 miles away it seems. Bit concerned that the weeds are already kicking in. Can’t wait to plant more rhodos next spring.
Best wishes, pdf180

Ptaro its lovely, technology makes our world so much smaller, the way I see it,if the weeds will grow then so will what we plant, plus a weed is only a plant in the wrong place, lol..

true Lincs-- the R.ponticum's a weed in some places but still lovely, there again I like red campoin with cow parsley and fields of poppies and buttercups....
you'll have a fine time Ptaro deciding which to plant.....
