I have a blue flowering salvia (hawaii sky blue) and the bee's are never off it.

Borage is great as an annual but buddleia globosa (with round orange flowers) is a great shrub for honey bees (which generally can't use the ordinary buddleias. Anise hyssop is the other plant which is supposed to be great for bees.
