how to feed my strawberries

I bought a hanging pot of strawberries from Morrisons, couldn't resist but don't know what to feed them on. The label said tomato feed, but when I read the label on tom feed, it sounded pretty grim, don't splash on skin etc. I haven't grown any produce before and as I'm going to eat them I would like a safe feed. Any help appreciated or am I being over cautious?

Tomato feed's fine - don't forget, it's dilute when it goes in the soil, and there's nothing in it that will hurt you if you eat the fruit. Splashing neat solution on your skin, though, not a good idea.
