I replanted my strawberry plants this year, and fresh, grew amazing h

So they were all new and fresh, and I grew the most gorgeous juicy strawberries. Unfortunately half of them were riddled with tiny white worms. Does anyone know what they are and how to prevent the same thing happening next year?


On plant They are much smaller than vine weevil, I wish I had taken a photo, but they were just very thin white tiny worms.

Don't think vine weevils get into the actual strawberry... I remember buying some organic strawberries that had tiny white thread worms in them - I confess I binned them... As to how you stop this happening I wish I knew
