I am a novice at all this Mookins but the Hydrangeas started to root within ten days, all three cuttings were successful and what a thrill and surprise that it happened in such a short time, I have also took " Butterfly bush" cuttings three weeks ago and noticed shoots appearing but no roots yet, I think it takes longer for these to root but fingers crossed they will, give it a try Mookins what have you to lose, it will give you great satisfaction and will also give you free plants, best of luck :)

when the roots are out the bottom of the pot then repot. I would plant them out in the spring once the ground has warmed up. The bigger they are the better they will establish.
