my agapanthus fails to flower
By Lilypad

I have bought mature specimens from the Botanical gardens of Wales, bought a dozen other mature plants and lots of young ones but still none of them flower and often disappear without trace. Any ideas please. Thanks for the warm welcome Ian

It might be that some of the varieties you bought weren't hardy - a lot of them aren't.
As for flowering, they seem to like sun and don't like to be too wet and I've always had more success with them in the garden than in pots, contrary to Seaburn's experience.
