On plant Narcissus

Answers

I'd say the first. I've been trying to read the label - which narcissus is it please.

Looks like N. cantabricus to me especially if its flowering now. It belongs to the Bulbacodium section of Narcissus.

Yes, one of the romiouxii narcissus, cantabricus as Fractal says. It is the first of the winter flowering narcissus. You seem to have sevral more pots there, Owdboggy, are they a speciality of yours.

I'd agree Fractal but the label appears to say something different... I've just turned the laptop on its side to try and read but can't quite make it out.

Sorry, the name was added but it does not seem to have been transmitted. It is Narcissus Taffeta and it usuallly flowers in February, in time for the Early Spring Bulb Shows (AGS).

Our sister society Mr MB and I are SRGC :-)

That is a super cross OB just checked it out Narcissus romieuxii x N.cantabricus meant to flower Nov/Dec so isn't likely to hit the show benches but you, and by extension, we can enjoy.

Can I be really cheeky and say if you get any seed could we have a very small amount please.

30 Oct, 2009

Sure, but have to say I have never seen any seed on it.
Certain we have seen it at shows, since we only buy from the shows and usually only things we have actually seen in flower on the benches, but would not argue about it. Caerleon one is most likely, perhaps held back?

Possibly OB himself is the Bulbaholic...

How do I say thanks?
