Coffee?
I have access to a fair amount of coffee grounds each week. . I have heard that they are good for mixing with heavy clay. Do people agree?
Could it have any bad effects on the vegetable patch?

coffee grounds are supposed to be rich in nitrogen, magnesium, sulphur and calcium and good for mulching try using teabags as well.

Id be adding some to the compost bin as well. I did put coffee grounds around my sweetpeas last year and I must admit slugs were less of a problem than usual.

I believe they're also good for keeping slugs and snails at bay....
