Hardy geraniums.
Will these grow and bloom at the foot of a fence where they will get only very early morning sunshine and spend the rest of the day in deep shade? I think they would grow but a friend is doubtful that they'd bloom very much. Thank you.

Have a look at Long Acre Plants who specialise in plants for shade and show lots of geraniums on their website to help you choose. I've bought from them several times and recommend them.

« Plant ID please also could I take cuttings from it? thanks
I think they should be fine Penny . . . hardy geraniums are often recommended for shade, and I have several. Try G. Rozanne (if you haven't already) as the pale centres will shine out!
