Could you please tell me if something exists to catch fruit when it falls from the tree eg like a net.

Many thanks for answering the question. The fruit is apples and it must be the june drop. when they fall they bruise so when is it best to pick them?.

What fruit is falling? You do get what they call the "June Drop" for Apples. This is where the tree sheds excess fruit that it dosent have the energy or space to mature to a viable size.
A net would surfice to stop you having to bend over, not sure if anything is on the market, you could design one and make some money.
