Is it possible to plant against a north facing wall and how much growth should it make the first year?

On plant Trachelospermum jasminoides

Answers

No - it's not reliably hardy in all parts of the UK, and it wouldn't flower there, either. I don't know how much it'll grow in the first year - sorry.
