can anybody identify this plant ? it grows well every year in amongst my herb plants, or it could be a herb plant....its jst curiousity i would not dream of getting rid. thanx ;)))

hmm comfrey is indestructable root, my neighbour plants a few for the bees

It looks a bit brighter than the comfrey I have but the shape looks right. I keep it for bees and the foul-smelling feed too.

THANKS everyone...but you said the magic word "BEE'S" and there are two more plants to the right of this pic, plus especially when most of my boarder & garden is still in green foliage, so its a welcome change of colour ;) thanks again.

comfrey is good to dig into the veg bed at the begining of the season to add to the nutruents. your lucky to have it. I havent got any, cant seem to find any. Does it set seed? hint, hint

its comfrey Windy. spreads like mad. composts brilliantly. makes comfrey liquor but smells foul.
bees love it too. good in an wildlife area.
