Just wondered if the leaves were not a bit narrow and bright green for a Skimmia that's all.

I know what you mean, it looks slightly chlorotic too, but still think its Skimmia - its definitely not Prunus!

It had a small white flower and red berries. The leaf has the same thickness as Prunus but the shape of a Skimmia. The leaves are new.

Assuming the flowers were in clusters, could be Skimmia reevesiana
