Hello everybody
Why are my double petunias, which i have in pots, now growing very small flowers?? They looked lovely, with good full blooms. Now they seem to keep bud like. I have made sure they are getting plenty of water in this heat and in the shade in the afternoon.
Any ideas??

Should be fed weekly with a liquid feed such as Miracle Gro general purpose liquid. The other thing that causes this, together with not feeding, is small pots - as the plants grow, they don't have room to expand properly.

Thankyou pamq and bamboo. Will try more feed then as i think the pots they are in are big enough. x

did you feed them either a slow release fertilizer in the compost or a liquid feed as per the bottle, if not try the liquid feeding now
