Portulaca grandiflora

One of my favorite annuals is Portulaca, or Moss Rose. They are in the Purslane family and get to 2½ to 3 inches across. Easy to start, they are also drought tolerant. A package of seeds usually comes in mix colors. Here is what is flowering in one pot:
The small seeds are easy to collect for next year.
