Hello, just wondering if anyone can advise? Is this a weed or a plant growing on my cobbled front, next to the drive?
Do I leave it or pull it out?
Thanks.

It's a weed, can't remember the name but it's a prolific spreader that will absolutely love that pebbled surface

Glad you named it Seaburn - I’d got as far as “something Robert”! I leave it in my garden as I like the colour 🙂

I have it in my garden and just pull it up when it is interfering with something else. Native wild geranium, pretty and good for early bees.Easy enough to pull up, unlike dandelions or bindweed!

Thanks Sheila and Pennyfarthing, I guess it has its uses too!

They grow all over my garden. I think they're pretty so I always leave some in odd corners.

Yes Hywel, the flowers are quite pretty. I’ll maybe just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t go crazy.

I think they are pretty, a native plant and they need all the help they can get. Here in the East of the country our verges have been poisoned into submission with only the awful Rape self-seeded and Cow Parsley to pass as wild flowers!

I also leave them unless they are crowding something else. They fill spaces and are a lovely native species. Foliage is pretty too. Easy to pull up as said above unlike some other native plants that I left to grow.

Thanks Merlinbabydog. I like geraniums in general, I guess I'll leave them be for the time being.

My neighbour used to call it Herb Alpert! It is pretty but it stinks like foxes and is a thug.

Lol, I remembered it by calling it Rob Herbert

How do I say thanks?
