To all you knowledgeable Paeony people.
I was sold this as Veitchii. I expected it to be pink. Looking at photos and descriptions could it be Emodi? I haven't seen either 'in the flesh'. I love it, either way! Thanks in advance.

Thanks, SBG. I you're right, think the leaves aren't divided enough. Strange that it should be white when it was described as pink, though. One of life's little mysteries - including the fact that I seem to have 2 of them from different sources (the other is too small to flower) so the muddle is with me, somewhere! I have no order details for more than one that I can find. Obviously a senior moment!

I wonder how often the white form shows up and if yours was grown from seed they wont know until it flowers whether it will be pink or white.
Don't know why I wrote lemon my senior moment haha
Also leaves of P emodi are shiny and there are usually more than one flower bud on a stem at a time.

According to the RHS and the HPS they can be white or lemon as well as pink.
Leaves look wrong for P. emodi, check this RHS link.
