Help! I have cleared my garden to replant in spring next year
Are there any products on the market that can help with killing off roots from two profusely spreading perenials?( that can be used safely)

Not really - anything that will kill those roots will sit in the soil - other, not quite so long lasting weedkillers kill through the green, meaning through the leaves and stems of the topgrowth, which the weedkiller penetrates and then gets carried back to the roots. Although in reality, they're not actually that effective very quickly. You'd be better off digging out the roots.
