Hi All,
I’m looking for recommendations for a small tree perhaps to a max of say 4 - 6 meters in height. Would be great to have flowers/ berries and great autumn leaf colour. May consider evergreen too. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thank you

Cotoneaster cornubia for me. Would be evergreen down south and flowers attract loads of bees and butterflies in summer and produces loads of berries for the birds in the winter. Not too large and resonds well to pruning.

Amelanchier has white blossom followed by berries, and good autumn colour. Not evergreen though.

I have a Sophora microphylla ‘Sun King’ Plant size 3m height 3m spreadevergreen shrub, producing yellow flowers in late winter and early spring that droop down with long anthers. Its leaves are glossy and dark green & the Bee's love the flowers too.
Aspect
South facing, west facing, Sun exposure: Full sun
Hardiness: Hardy
Soil type: Well drained / light / sandy.

I have a Rowan that full fills all the criteria you mentioned. And as it is a native tree the berries are favourites with many birds.
