Does anyone have any tips for propagating Chamaecyparis obtusa? I have done a lot of propagation and usually don't have problems but can't seem to figure this one out.

I never really considered growing them from seed, I checked out that site and it looks a bit complicated. I have a 'Split Rock' Chamaecyparis and would like to grow some from hardwood cuttings. I don't do hardwood cuttings very often so maybe I just need a bit more practice.
