Just bought some sloeberry''s from a supermkt. only about 9/12 inches high, but well rooted. how long before I can expect to get them fruiting

Hard to answer as it depends so much on growing conditions etc. BUT, Sloes usually flower when they are about 5 years old given optimum condtions. Since they grow about a foot a year I would guess that yours are newly grown seedlings. So. I would think you have a long wait!
