indoor primarose care??

I just recieved a prima rose as a gift, and it was flowered and looking beautiful...Now its all wilted with no flowers and dying..I water it and keep it in full sun where its cool. What am I doing wrong?

I agree with Spritz. Primroses are not best suited to indoor conditions and would be better off in the garden. If and when you turn it out of its pot, check the roots for grubs etc.

I always plant out the primrose plants that me daughter buys me as a houseplant. after flowering i find it a sunny spot and prepare a planting hole twice as big as it needs and mix in good compost then plant it and back fill with soil & compost. It may reflower now or in the autumn but it will be beautiful next year.
