WHY DOES THE FLOWERS ON MY COURGETTE PLANT KEEP FALLING OFF?

from what i know you get male and female flowers on courgettes. only the female turn into courgettes. you will know if they are female they will have little courgettes behind. sometimes the male flowers only come first. perhaps it is this?otherwise im wondering are they getting pollinated?
