when you write a blog you can preview it ~ there is a button to press at the bottom ~ then if you dont like the photo or the words you can change them.

Och pet, don't worry it'll work out, do what Sticki says, if the photo isn't on your screen when you preview your blog, then you need to go back and select it again, you can preview your blog as many times as you like, just keep practicing!

Don't go from the page before your photo has been downloaded either, that is the mistake I made when I started if you wander away to another page it does not download the picture. Click on the download picture button and wait until it comes up - it can take quite a long time to download also. I am still getting used to downloading pictures - I get very impatient with the amount of time it takes to download photos. lol.
Technology is not one of my strong points - come to think of it I haven't got many strong points on anything. lol. Keep trying - you will get there in the end. When you write a blog also make sure you click on the save button then you can review it and edit it as you want - don't click on the publish button until you have finished. Although it does ask you once you have if you are ready to publish. All good stuff isn't it? lol

the pictures will download quicker if they are smaller in memory size ~ you can do this by right clicking on the photo and taking the 'edit' option ~ when it goes to the edit section you find a button that says image and then 'resize' it ~ i make mine a much smaller number ~ then i save them with a different name and i find they will easily load on here or you can send them by email to friends. some of my pictures take up so much memory they wouldnt load on here at all so i have to change them.

thanks sticki I do try to help - but as I said not too good with IT stuff. I never thought about changing the size of my photos I will try that and see if it works quicker for me - thank you

I didn't know you could resize pics on the site, I've been doing that on photoshop and importing on my Mac... must see if I can resize on the site through a Mac, and then I could put more pics on, because I have to steal K's Mac for photoshop, and then he can't work...and then I can't buy any plants, oops getting sidetracked, thanks Sticki, you're a wee star!!

sorry to disappoint you libet ~ im not sure you can do this on the site ~ i have to do it on my computer ~ the program came with the computer itself i think. i click on edit on a photo within 'my pictures' ~ then i save it as a different name so i have the original and one with a lot less pixels.

Hi.friends, I cant get the hang of watching these conversations between you.I always seem to go on the wrong page.Still i am understanding a bit more about putting pics. on.Just taking more pics. the other day when the new camera decided to play up ,was just getting to the stage of wondering what was going on when it started working again.I will be putting more pics. on when all my roses are in bloom, probably not until june as we are going on our hols on the 17th for 2weeks so getting everything planted on the allotment not to mention keeping the weeds down plus making sure all the gardens around the house are tidy.I was up at 6am yesterday spraying all 54 of the roses for black spot as it was the first non windy day for a while. I have to do this monthly because of the amount of roses there are, and i dont like to do it during the day because of the bees and birds.Thanks once again for all your advice.
