My garden in May

There is such a lot to show you, so I will apologise now!
Just a few of my roses which are in flower now:
This is a special rose called Hope which was a present from close friends after my lovely Rick had died.
The Calendulas are doing really well this year. Rick’s favourite flower.
This Deutzia is doing so well this year.
The Choisya has been flowering since April.
There are 7 Rhodys in the garden, but this is the best flowering one. For some reason the others haven’t flowered much this year.
This is the best these Geums have ever been!
And these Cornflowers are too!
This is the first year I have been successful with these also.
Everything seems to be early this year!
My favourite shrub, the Vibernham Marisii
I bought this Philladelphus many years ago for £2.50!
At last it has grown !
I hope you enjoyed looking at my pictures. There were so many to show you and still so many I haven’t.
How we have to do blogs now is so slow plus finding the right file number which never comes in the right order on my chrome book.
Happy gardening my friends!

Rose what a lovely collection of plants and shrubs...I can see the results of your hard work despite somedays not feeling up to it.

Rose, you’ve an abundance of gorgeous blooms and colour in your lovely garden! So many things giving you lots of joy. I’m with Karen, the gift of ‘Hope’ from your close friends is very kind and thoughtful, especially in memory of Rick.
Thanks for taking us around your garden today, hope you are feeling better x

Yes, I agree. I would like to make more blogs, but it’s a little bit tedious nowadays on here. I really loved the first photo Rose. Very atmospheric and inviting. And how lovely of someone to bring you ‘Hope’ at such a terrible time. The garden is doing ever so well and maybe, just maybe this is in part because you are doing a bit better too. :) sending love x
