Autumn flowers!

These are just a few of my favourite plants which are still flowering.

My lovely Bonica rose still flowering!

I can’t believe my Passion flower is still going!

The dahlia I bought as it is named after my grandaughter Maya.

Trachlespermum Jasminoide

These Asters were very late flowering this year.

I think I will have to move these Rudbeckias nearer to the front as they took quite a long time to flower.

And last but not least, the Rowan Tree. Unfortunately my camera hasn’t picked up the true colour!
Have a good Autumn everyone and enjoy your garden.

Lovely to see your autumnal flowers Rose. That's a pretty rose and a pretty name for your granddaughter.☺️
The Bonica rose is gorgeous and so many flowers still out. I'm pleased with my passion flower too, it's threaded itself through my cherry tree!

Beautiful flowers in your garden, Rose!

The name of your rose, 'Bonica', is Spanish for "Pretty"! It a form that's much used in my wife's city in Spain! It looks as though it lives up to its name, too!

Your Trachlespermum Jasminoide is aka 'Star Jasmine'. Some were planted in the new shopping centre in town just before it was officially opened some years ago! It's evergreen & I take pictures of it in flower every year since it began to flower! I've never seen them with red foliage! I even did a search online but the immense majority of the pictures I saw were just of the flowers! I only saw 5 photos of them with red foliage!

What a colourful selection of plants Rose - a walk round the garden is very therapeutic puts everything into perspective I always think - love the Rudbeckia - and the Asters -

Happy gardening
Jane

Thanks Janey. Although the Passion flower is still going strong, there are not many flowers but I like the evergreen coverage as I hopefully the trellis will totally disappear.
Unfortunately there were two clematis in the raised bed which have disappeared.

Thanks Balcony. Bonica is one of my favourite roses.
I remember years ago when Alan Titchmarsh was standing under a Trachlespermum and fell in love with it.
It has only been red the last couple of years, so maybe it has to mature before that happens.

Thanks Jane. Days when I feel down after losing my dear husband 18 months ago, walking round the garden helps.

Lots of things still giving you pleasure in your garden, Rose.
I've only one of my roses still flowering happily..
Lovely to see your aster blooming, it's such a pretty flower. Your rudbeckia does look so cheerful! Lots of blooms too. Love to see the Rowan at this time of year..such lovely autumn leaf colour.
I do hope your garden is helping, Rose, giving you some comfort..18 months is no time at all.
Sending my best x

Thank you Kate. It just seems like yesterday when I lost my lovely Rick.
The garden does help.
Looking at the Rudbeckias in Monty Don's garden and how tall they are made me wonder why mine hadn't grown tall.

Lovely pics Rose, I dont think my Rudbeckia (Deemii) has done so well this year and seemed a bit slower but I think mine was in the shade a bit more than normal as my trees hadn't been pruned for a few years and it seemed to flop more than normal, :-)

Rose I think Monty's Rudbeckia is Lacianata. I used to have one quite tall, but it flopped so much I dug it out.
