Photos of the Broads Norfolk

As I now have my pictures back, I thought I would show you photos from our recent holiday in Norfolk.
It was sunny and warm every day so we took a boat trip one day on the Broads. It was set up for people in wheel chairs too which was great. We were put on a little lift and taken up to the top which had the best view. Plenty of space between ourselves and other passengers too, plus on the top deck there were no windows which made us feel safer too.
So.. here we go then..

This was once a working wind mill , but now is a holiday home! I would have loved to have stayed there!

Hubby relaxing after an enjoyable trip!

This is the view from the restaurent we visited most days.
The best holiday we have ever had !

Could definitely recommend this holiday!

Thanks Julia. We wouldn't go anywhere else now apart from Suffolk!
Yes we did Sandra. Were we stayed in a little village was only about a 15 minute drive from there.
We found there were so many places to visit and all just a short drive away.

I recognise your holiday photos, we have similar ones. Over the years we have stayed at Ludham, Ludham bridge, Horning, Potterhigham and a few other places.

I love Hickling Broad in particular.

It does look the perfect place for a very relaxing holiday with scenery so gentle on the eye.
Lovely to see photos of both you and Rick.
Make plans to return Rose - something to look forward to.

Thank you Marjory. I hope you are keeping well!
I recognise Horning Seaburn girl, but not the others and you have me intrigued by Hickling Broad which we will have to visit when we go next year.
Hello Chris, yes , we do plan to go back next year and hopefully will be clear of covid19 by then!
Thanks Anget. We hadn't been to this part of Norfolk for quite a while and loved it. Everything was so close by and can't wait for next year!

It looks like you had a wonderful trip on the boat. I've always fancied a narrow boat holiday, but they always seem so expensive.
The Norfolk Broads are a beautiful part of the country. I've only ever been there once and I loved it.

Hello Rose, Norfolk you just cannot beat it, looks like you picked a good week for the weather, and nice to see you were well looked after on the boat, I’ve done Norfolk many times over the years apart from the broads, it’s a box I need to tick, I remember when the kids were tots, we were ambling along that old coast road, in an old groaning transit van, my car had broken down so what the heck we put an old mattress in the back and went camping, we stumbled upon quaint Hemsby and a lovely camp site, gosh we looked like gypsies, the tent was put up in a rain storm and through the night we abandoned it and slept in the van, the sun soon arrived and the rain cleared, the following night whilst the wife was huddled in tent me and the kids slept outside watching all the shooting stars, looks like you had a great time.

Thanks Stroller. You would love it!
Then you must Homebird !
We always fancied a narrow boat Homebird but apart from being too expensive, my hubby is disabled and wouldn't be able to do it now!
Thanks Klahanie!
Thanks Kate we loved it and have already booked for next year!
Thanks for your little story Julien. It made me smile! We stayed in a little bungalow in a small village which you could have missed if you blinked ! Hahaa! We have booked again for next year already!
Maybe you should try that area next year!
