A couple of months ago I entered a competition run by Cuprinol (the wood stain people)and after many emails back and forward, we heard that we were finalists.
They had requested photos of the garden and garden buildings. These (we thought ) were to be featured in their new advertising campaign.The prize being £100 and a quantity of Cuprinol wood stain of our choice.
I beavered away in the garden in the days preceding the photo shoot; but, as it turned out they only wanted us doing various things in the garden and as far as I know they did not take pictures of the garden. The team were with us all day and took over 300 photos. I won’t be taking up modelling in the near future !
It was was all very interesting and great fun to be part of the promotion and quite an eye opener to see the lengths they go to to produce an ad only lasting a couple of minutes.The first ad is being aired tomorrow evening at 7 58 on CSOUTH3 (Coronation St) For anyone who might be interested.

WoW roseberry, well done, I do like the colour's on your shed, no wonder you were a winner :) well deserved..
There was a blog a couple of days ago from another member who also won a cuprinol comp and is in an ad but she's not sure when.. Ill be watching tomorrow night :)
