Our Move

We finally moved to Scotland at the end of June. It was planned for March but I have had to have 3 major operations. 2 in Canterbury and 1 in Watford on our way north. However we are now in our new home in Ayr and loving it specially for me a new garden challenge. I am recovering well and enjoying planning the garden; but will wait till the spring to see what plants might already be here .

It looks to be in a great position - some potential for nice woodsy flowers and a good area of sunshine too - and a pool as well - you are going to enjoy yourself once you get your strength back!

Good luck Rose. In the intervening months do some walking around, looking at people's gardens. This will give you a good idea of the plants that do well in local soil
and weather conditions.
Raspberries do well up there.

I'll be following you, it's so exiting starting with a blank canvas. Which direction are you facing? Good luck roseberry and don't let life beat you down.

It looks a nice size garden. And , although looks like you have some established shrubs, it's not too bushy or overgrown.
Is that a VegPatch at the back?
Will look forward to seeing your changes/additions next year.
Don't overdo it though. Nice garden is good but health most important.
