I love these small iris they seem to do far better in my garden than their bigger brothers/sisters. I have a few more photos of the garden in April so here goes. I thought the beard might be more blue but I bought it from the members sales table at an SRGC Show in Dunblane and this is the first time I have seen it in flower.

ooh that is a lovely one Scotsgran. Thanks for sharing.
From what I read the beards can be blue or yellow, so I guess this is a very pale blue bearded one. still very pretty.

Thank you Sbg. Because I bought it off the members sales table there was no information, except the name, so I am doubly delighted to see such a lovely flower. I checked on the web to see if it was true to type and came across a new to me website. Here is the link if you do not know of it.

They had two dwarf iris that strongly appealed to me, Iris 'Pogo' and Iris 'Orange Caper'. As a senior member who might feel the need to downsize at sometime in the future these small plants are ideal for growing in pots and could move with me/us. The flowers on 'Knick Knack' are creamy white with very pale blue beards. It is described on the website as white with violet marking.

I had iris Pogo a few years ago but it didn't come through a very cold wet winter. it was clearly in a too damp an area.
I will look at the site but I will hide my credit card first. ;o)
