re found how to delete plants

We often get asked how to remove plants from our garden list. I was looking back in earlier blogs and I found a blog I had written that said how to do it.

When you go to your garden section and scroll down to find a plant that has died. Click on the name of the plant not the edit button.
That opens up the file and on the left there is a delete button. Any photos that are linked to it are not deleted.

I knew there was a away to do it but couldn’t remember.
I am now going to work through my garden list and do a cull.

I did know how to delete plants, but actually prefer to leave them in my virtual garden as a reminder not to buy plants that won't do or have died through my neglect, just changing my description to 'lost'. The number is a bit of an embarrassment.

That is a good point Siris. I hadnt thought of it that way. I have a box of 'lost plant' labels instead.

I have a plant label moving poltergeist in my garden, so labels are never where they should be.

when the girls were small they'd bring me labels saying 'look mummy pretty pictures or look mummy white sticks'.

Recently i have seen blackbirds and squirrels pulling them up. grrr.

Thanks so much for that tip! Just a few days I added Anemone to my list & I realized just how many I had that I no longer have! I wondered at the time how I could remove them but couldn't find out how to do it. So thanks again! 👍

I 'pruned' my garden plant list to leave those I still have or hope to add to soon. While I was at it I added some more recent photos to some of those I kept which is why you would have seen many more photos recently!
