Planting

Well hasn’t it been lovely weather? Makes you feel like doing things doesn’t it? I’ve been putting up plants that are arriving thick and fast through the post ?
I got this little shelf ladder from Aldi which is also where the Lewisia came from and the busy lizzies. In the pot on the floor are Petunia “night sky” getting ready for my hanging baskets also just arrived are some hardy fuschias Delta Sarah(my daughter is called Sarah) I said I wasn’t going to grow as much this year…yes well!
In the “nearly time to throw out greenhouse” (it’s rusted through and plastic cover is broken, just ordered a new one) are some trailing Lobelia, cosmos seedlings, a geranium that I was given, some gazanias some sunflower seedlings and some nasturtium!
The planters are now in flower tulips and forget me nots and pansies and primula.
I’ve also just got three Camellias that I’ve just potted up not had any before.
The pond is settling down and I’ve planted some marginal plants some of which came from sea burn girl (thankyou!)
Rocky says it’s been too hot Mum!
Happy gardening all!

Wow, you are organised! Delta's Sarah is a lovely fuchsia - I hope she does well for you. She gets a bit taller than some but looks so dainty.
All the best with your new pond - always a source of pleasure and an excuse to relax for a few moments!

I like that little thing you have your plants on. Our nearest Aldi is about 6 miles away and off a big busy roundabout so I avoid going there :(
Good luck with your new plants. Your garden looks lovely !
Hi to Rocky :D

You have done very well with all your plants,Sewingkilla! ?
I have a little plastic greenhouse like yours, given to me by my son & daughter-in-law a couple of years ago. It took the place of one my daughter gave me 10 years earlier! On a balcony there's not much space for a permanent greenhouse & I take this one down for the summer after I have finished using for seedlings & cutting so I have room to plant up some growbags with tomatoes (seedlings in there at present!) ?

Your pond is lovely. Love the idea that it is raised. More a watering spot. Is that a fountain at the end? I am envious
water. We have very little, as we live on ledges.
