Too many plants?

Well ive gone a tad mad this year im sure i never ordered all these bedding plants….ahem.
After work done on the border the plants are looking good, my friend and neighbour brought me some Canterbury bell seedlings and foxgloves and theyve settled in beautifully in fact the bells are in bud, i thought id lost the Aqueligias but there are some coming through. I had 4 tons of compost added to the border as the soil was pretty poor and its really made a difference.
Been out with Rocky this morning early on before it got too hot, we are very lucky to live 5 minutes away from a lovely park and woodland which i love, here are some photos of this mornings walk.
Happy gardening all!

S'killa I'm saying nothing other than advising, just try to remember where you keep your shoehorn, your garden is looking lovely, as is that park with the very handsome Rocky who appears to be patiently waiting whilst you take your photographs....

lol the first sentence - and yes you can run out of space but I guess your garden is fairly big to have 4 tons of compost added - I think if I had that put in my garden it would be about 4 foot higher than it is! Your walk looks wonderful :)

Perhaps you can have too many plants, but who's got the willpower to stop buying them? I agree with Lincs, you just need a shoehorn, plenty of labels or a good memory to remembered where the perennials are while they are out of sight and the ability to keep moving things if you forget! Then when you dig them up, they need splitting - and where do you put those?
Your garden looks lovely and you are so lucky to have such a great walk through such stately trees.

SK I`m sure you will find room for them all and the end result will be blooming marvellous.

Yes I lived in Scunthorpe when they where developing it. My children used to regularly play in the paddling pool. My nephew and his family live on Ashby Road. Many happy memories. I lived of the Queensway when I was a child !!
