Well what a change in the weather here (North Lincolnshire) today has been ok but it’s so cold! The wind was biting this morning!
I have just recieved a new greenhouse as my old one died lol, just been plotting on some bedding plants, too cold to put them out yet and tomorrow torrential rain is forecast so they’ll be snug in the greenhouse.

The pond plants are starting to grow and the algae has now cleared so I will be looking to get a couple of fish now.
I had to move the bird bath as it used to stand where the pond now sits but I think it looks better amongst the Pink campions

The Alemanchier shrub has been really pretty this year I have two one near the patio, I’d like a tree though these have had the leader trunk stopped so they’re shrubs, good tree for an urban garden with all year round interest.

the garden is looking very good. yes the weather forecast for us [East yorks] is also dire. Apart from watering the greenhouse I think a day sewing is going to be in order.

are you going for gold fish or more 'exotic' such as shubunkins ?
