Chelsea list of flowers through the year

I was watching the Chelsea flower show yesterday and Joe Swift was talking about flowers through the calendar year (also the original Calendar girls were on) I thought those of you who haven’t seen it may be interested in the list, its always useful to know some flowers for every month of the year i think.
January – Helleborus hybridus
February – Narcissus ‘Cornish Chuckles’ (lovely name!)
March – Tulipa ‘Foxtrot’ (pink and white)
April – Azalea ‘Mothers day’
May – Aqueligia ’ Skylark’
June – Rosa ‘Girlguides UK’
July – Lavendula Angustifolia
August – Agapanthus ‘Charlotte’
September – Dahlia ‘Karma Fuchiana’
October – Penniseton ‘Fairy Tales’
November – Chrysanthemum ‘Tim Wonacott’ (lovely bright yellow spray)
December – Alpina Purpurata
I wanted to put photos on but not sure of the law against ‘borrowing’ photos off the internet so not wanting to get the site in to trouble decided against it!

Good idea S K...I saw that article too, but it never occured to me to put on GOY...I think these are the months they flower, Mookins...:>)

yes they are the months they flower, i want some colour later in the year so thought others might too! glad its of some use. :o)
