busy weekend

Well we had a busy weekend, my sister and her son called in on the saturday to drop her Fathers day card off at our parents, then hubby went to collect or son Kris and his 2 girls for the weekend it was Kris’ birthday on Saturday he was 28 (so where did those 28 years go then?) Rian is 4 and Eleanor is 1 on the 26th of this month, we had a lovely weekend albeit a bit tiring!! I am playdoughed, barbied and playmobiled out!!!
then today i decided to cut the grass it was getting a bit long although the daisies are very pretty! Then i cut back the Viburnum as it was growing accross the grass too far and although it will affect the flowering next year it really needed to be cut back, it was very hot and heavy this afternoon though I was all hot and itchy by the time i’d finished!

Sounds like you had a great time, SK - grandchildren are so much fun. Very hot here today, too, and like you, I mowed the lawns but that's all!
