A day of two halves

The weather changed from a grey, wet and miserable start this morning to a lovely sunny afternoon, that’s about right for England I guess!
I’m on a bit of a health kick from today as my blood sugars are too high, I blame the sedentary last few months for it, not walking or gardening enough so it was off to the seaside for a brisk walk. The rain had yet to start so it wasn’t too bad, even though the sea was so rough.
The river Arun flows out to sea and where the two meet, the current and the surge clash, very dangerous!
I was inspired to look at my Crocus flowers having seen the lovely photo on GoY of Lindaks, with the sun now shining in the early afternoon here’s what I found.
To hear Bees buzzing round, then seeing them inside the Crocus flowers was a sure sign Spring is well and truly on the way.
I do wish the birds and/or insects would leave the yellow Crocus alone as they are always nibbled.
The dwarf Narcissi should be flowering in a week or so.
Hellebores are looking good and Cyclamen are still flowering.
Finally, the perfume of this Daphne is wonderful.
Hopefully the weather will begin to improve, less rain and more sunny days.
