Amazing Tree Peony Offer

I’ve always loved tree peonies but the high price in garden centres has always put me off, so when I saw an offer in a daily newspaper for 5 tree peony for £14.99(including P+P) from Thompson and Morgan thought it was too good to be true, but a couple of days later thought what the heck worth seeing what they’re like at that price.
Well this morning they arrived, was expecting tiny plants but what a wonderful surprise, huge package and as you can see from photo all plants have at least three stems, one has five, amazing root system, was going to put them in pots to grow on but dont think I have any pots big enough, off to garden centre this afternoon I think to get some, do have room for a couple in the garden, and know where the rest are going eventually.
Just goes to show sometimes it pays to take a risk, glad I did :-)
Don’t know if you can see varieties on picture

Wonderful Kathy and what a bargain, they should get going really well from their size.
Looks like T&M were committed to supply as they did their deal with the newspaper, looks like this is the best way to buyl with them. Well done Kathy.

Probably so Dawn, have had several good bargains from them in the past, two different clematis offers, and another for 6 different climbers honeysuckle, jasmine, solanum etc, free plants just paid postage, all have grown really well, but thinking about it were all from newspaper or magazine offers, mind you have had loads of seeds from them, only thing I was disappointed with were some bedding plants that were tiny when they arrived and took all summer to get going.
What a shame you had such a bad experience Clarice, 8 months crikey.
Don't know how long they'll take to flower, read they can take 4-5 years, patience needed I think, lol.

How have they all turned out Simbad? Have they all been a success? I ordered 3 minature Buddleias from them for £14.99 + pp, they haven't arrived yet, but hopefully they'll be the same quality as your Peonies!
